HI I just recently purchased an L.C. Smith 20ga field grade with ejectors. I got a good deal on the gun but it has a couple of small issues I'd like to get fixed.
1. I would like to get the receiver re-case hardened it is at best 20 to 30% now.
2. I has ejectors but the left one is what I'd call "slow" the seller said it needed "timed"???
Would these repairs be advisable??? What would be an expected cost to have them done??
Any advice greatly appreciated!!!!

The forearm on my auto ejector 16 gauge featherweight won’t come off. Ejectors work fine. No problem with using the shotgun. The shotgun is from the 20s. It has a roller button forearm release. Is there a way to remove the forearm? Forearm and barrels are mounted on the receiver. Again the shotgun works fine the forearm just won’t remove.
