My shop is dedicated to the complete and accurate restoration of all double barrel shotguns, but especially the L.C. Smith guns. I specialize in returning these old guns back to factory specs. I have a ton of factory parts and I've restocked over 300 L.C. Smiths. My goal is to make this gun looks just as it did when it left the L.C. Smith or Hunter Arms plant. LC Smith Ranger Shotguns - Single Trigger
Hi. I recently purchased an LC Smith Ranger branded shotgun (sold by Sears Roebuck) in 16 gauge, single trigger. Its in decent shape, however, it has a few problems. First, it won't lock up (probably because it is cocked), and second, the left barrel won't fire every fifth round or so. I refinished the stock and took it to a local gunsmith who reworked the firing pins. After I put about twenty rounds through it, it didn't want to lock up. Do you work on these shotguns as well?
